Staff is very friendly. Dad is very happy with the meals and activities. He particularly likes the games and outings to go shopping. Manzanita is very clean. Studio apartment is a bit tight but we were able to fit in his favorite recliner, dresser, bookcase and small table and chair. Dad has his own kitchenette so he can have his favorite snacks available.

The staff that took care of my cousin were great. Towards the end she stopped eating but with gentle encouragement they were able to get her to drink protein shakes. She Loved watching tv in the lounge with everyone and she always had funny comments to say about the characters on the screen.

We are happy with the place with the exception of a couple of the staff are a little hard for mom to deal with. Are we thinking of moving her NO. Would I place her that again. YES. Typical problems but the rest of the services far outweigh the problems. We did look at several other places that were comparable in pricing but this place was the nicest. We picked this community because of the location, and it was close.
