The staff seemed amazing-the apartment fronts were really nice and it was just an overall good impression. We love the place - definitely a 5 - my mother in law is not happy with her stay - but the family would recommend.

Staff gets a 5 except the director I would give a 3. He does not do what he says he will do. My mom has been promised a new patio door since last summer as the current one does not shut without extreme force and then you can't open it without extreme force. My mom complains she rarely has a hot meal and the quality is hit and miss. She says she has some very good meals and some that are terrible As far as "farm to table" I'm not sure there is anything that meets that description. Additionally when I visit I have to…

My 84-year-old Mother had a second knee replacement after a fall in her house in Florida, Rehab was not going as well as hoped and I need to move her back to Ohio. My Mom could not stand nor get out of bed on her own. We had toured five facilities and Maplewood was by far , the best. It begins as a beautiful facility nestled on peaceful, natural grounds. As you enter, it’s warm and inviting and feels more like an upscale resort than an assisted living facility. Every member of the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful regardless of whether your loved one is assigned to them or not.
