Apartment size is great and has a roll-in shower and shower bench seat which is terrific! The Staff was very disappointing as the level of care expected was not delivered. For example, the resident walked slowly on their own down to meals and the staff wanted a wheelchair to wheel the resident to the dining room faster so they could take other residents down; after we moved in, we were advised to get a private aide, 24/7, to help the resident adjust to their new residence as the staff really did not establish a co…

I hired home care aides to spend time with my wife in order to supplement efforts by Maplewood staff. Once it was apparent that "outside" aides were there Maplewood staff began shirking their duties/responsibilities by (incorrectly) relying on the outside home care aides to do things they (Maplewood) was responsible for.
