CriticalPreparation of food is terrible except for breakfast. It is way too expensive especially for those who do not need any type of care like in assisted living - just need a safe place to live. The staff are all kind and caring, There is way too much staff turnover.

CriticalI have not so much to compare this experience with. Dad eventually has become comfortable. The entire staff and management was removed over the course of ~ 2 months. There was no explanation to the families. I have faith that now that the interim Management team has left, and the new director is in place, that basic procedures and trust will be improved or developed between staff and management and residents. I finally made my brother and sister make the decision which place we would use because I was having a hard time choosing.

CriticalWe are always humbled by how hard the staff works. We are learning how difficult their job is. "Just in time" care is important , but so is quality of life. Food provides calories, but also social engagement and something to look forward to. It would help to increase variety and presentation. I very much enjoy the residents at Milestone.

PositiveThe staff are wonderful people that took great care of my father that was diagnosed with brain cancer one month earlier. The staff on hand were so caring and helpful with any thing that needed to be done to make father more comfortable the last month of his life. We really appreciated everything they did for us both.

PositiveI think Milestone is very good. So far I'm happy with my loved one being there. It's a friendly and clean place. I think the staff are good with the patients. And the patients are mostly acute and on the same functioning level, aside from a few here and there, which is good for my loved one socially.
