Mismanagement of Meds and Constructed Discharge

Our family had a deeply disappointing and distressing experience with The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Franklin. If I could give them zero stars I would given the mismanagement of meds and constructed discharge that occurred. My father has dementia, and we trusted this facility to safely manage his memory care, medications, communication, and care planning. Unfortunately, our experience raised serious concerns in all of those areas. His intake paperwork documented that he should not receive a specific medication …

We had a really nice tour here, the community was nice well kept up and the staff was friendly. We just did not feel like this would have been the right fit for our father.

This just not the right fit for us. The community was lovely and the people were helpful. We just did not like that the halls were so narrow. That became the problem here.

The Best Place for Mom

The staff is very friendly and informative, letting us know of any special needs or issues they are dealing with concerning my mother. They truly care about their residents, and this is valuable to me for peace of mind. I wish I had chosen Morning Pointe when we first moved her into Assisted Living a few years ago. She's progressed to Memory Care now, and I couldn't be happier with our choice to move her here.

They are fabulous! If I could give them six stars I would. My loved one needs a little more care than the standard assisted living provides, and they provide that. In the memory care all the doors are painted to look like furniture, so they don't feel the need to try to go out the door. It's an AMAZING place. She is doing 10,000 times better than she was before.
