After 5 years of my 92 year old mother being at Morningside of Anderson I now feel compelled to leave an unsatisfactory review. The current management is unresponsive to concerns regarding inadequate meal options as well as the maintenance of rooms. The carpet in my mother’s room is worn and very dirty. At a visit this past week I requested that the carpet be replaced and professionally cleaned until it is replaced. Instead they showed this morning with the little carpet extractor they have on property, which will …

I would not recommend. My brother was there from [date removed] until his death in [date removed]. I visited there often. I was favorably impressed the first month or two but witnessed a steady decline overall. Management and housekeeping along with visibility. Hard to find anyone when needed other than the kitchen staff. I hate being judgmental and, giving the facility the benefit of the doubt, maybe they're understaffed.

We have several friends that are residents there which is why we chose it. She was in "solitary confinement" for lengthy times especially on evening & night shifts. Not complaining & likely unavoidable.
