Caring and hardworking Staff. Management sucks.

The Executive Director talks a good game but never follow up. Example: a new garage door to our underground parking was going to be installed 10 days ago. Every resident received a flyer announcing. The day came and NO NEW GARAGE DOOR. Even more incompetent … no idea of when. Same old excuse, “The new part has not come in.” We have been fed the same line for just about everything. Gorgeous new facility

My mom lived here for about 6 months before we lost her. The management was great about allowing us to modify rooms to make them more accessible. The carestaff are all really great unfortunately we saw them running into staffing problems. The front desk ladies were really amazing. The food is very good but lacks rotation. It is easy to arrange transportation and having a doctor and pt on site is amazing.

No care by a majority of staff, missing staff

There is a lot to be desired Terrible food Terrible restaurant service NO ADMINISTRATOR for months Management is incompetent Rents raised each year with less and less help to residents Rents raised even if you have not lived here for a year Medical managers do not follow through with requests I do not feel safe with the medical staff

Terri, as our local leaders have assured you in person, the first principles of MorningStar remain steadfast. As to not feeling safe with our clinical team, are you referring to our recent flu clinic? Our team responded immediately upon your report of a reaction, taking your vitals and finding them normal. We offered to take you to urgent care, but you declined. Executive Chef Angel has received good feedback on our culinary services. He hosts monthly “Food for Thought” meetings where residents can voice opinions and suggestions about our menus. Please continue to bring us your thoughts on how we can demonstrate a commitment to service excellence. Overall would recommend

Each floor has an ambassador which helps new residents. They helped to pull together a bridge group. And was invited to a bible study. Took 2-3 months but very happy now.
