MorningStar of Mission Viejo has been a wonderful community from everything I've experienced with my loved one. The staff are caring, professional, and truly dedicated to the residents. The Executive Director talks a good game but never follow up. Example: a new garage door to our underground parking was going to be installed 10 days ago. Every resident received a flyer announcing. The day came and NO NEW GARAGE DOOR. Even more incompetent … no idea of when. Same old excuse, “The new part has not come in.” We have been fed the same line for just about everything. PositiveGorgeous new facility
My mom lived here for about 6 months before we lost her. The management was great about allowing us to modify rooms to make them more accessible. The carestaff are all really great unfortunately we saw them running into staffing problems. The front desk ladies were really amazing. The food is very good but lacks rotation. It is easy to arrange transportation and having a doctor and pt on site is amazing.

Each floor has an ambassador which helps new residents. They helped to pull together a bridge group. And was invited to a bible study. Took 2-3 months but very happy now.
