The apartment is nice. My mother-in-law enjoyed it but unfortunately she passed away only 4 months after moving in. My father in-law was there until June and had a stroke. He was in the hospital for quite some time and is now in a rehabilitation facility. The nursing staff at Oak Pointe are working with the other facility to get him back to Oak Pointe and we are very grateful for that.

I have a loving room and a nice size bedroom. We have been in need of a maintained guy but one started today. The food is good on most days but I can choice something else for them to fix me. There hamburgers are really good. And grilled cheese

I would have given it a 5 but they've had problems since they were sold a couple of months ago. For one thing, the meals have gone downhill. A new cook is supposed to start this week and I'll be in town from 3-23 thru 3-28 when I'll be eating most of my meals there, so I will have a better idea of what's going on. Mom is supposed to get her hearing aides put in before breakfast, but that has been sporadic. It seems like the notes don't get read by all the help--seems to be a huge turnover recently.
