Oakmont of Riverpark is a wonderful home for my aging parent. I considered a number of different care communities in my search for just the right spot for my Mother with her advancing Alzheimer’s disease. It is a very difficult and emotional time for my family. The staff at Oakmont during our initial meetings eased the process and their staff has been very attentive and supportive. I’d especially like to call the Director of the Memory Care wing. We initially chose Oakmont because there was a noticeable difference in the staff — they all seemed kind, patient, and helpful. And that has remained true well after being there for some time. But we also love it because the rooms are laid out well, there’s generous space, and everything seems new and modern. My parents are very happy there and we plan to stay.

First two years in assisted living wonderful. New management forced mom into Memory Care as she is on blind. At another $1000 we cannot afford. Just returned from a visit. 6 pm Monday night. Only one nurse on duty for the whole floor. Another patient hitting my husband with her oversized walker, trying to get into my mom's apartment! Several patients try to use her room as a bathroom!
