Oaks at Braselton is conveniently close to local churches, shopping areas, the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, and other medical offices. The single story stylish craftsman style property features 46 assisted living apartments and 34 memory care apartments. Each aspect of the community has been built with the best interests of elders in mind, fulfilling a mission that CEO Alex Salabarria and his father began more than two decades ago. The Salabarria family’s commitment to being personally available to residents, their family members and staff is what sets them apart from most senior living operators. Some unique amenities offered include all-day dining, bird aviaries, aquariums, community pets, separate secured memory care, on-site physical and occupational therapy, Chapel and a children’s playground. Our multi-generational approach creates a family-like culture. Visitors from local daycare centers, schools, churches, and various organizations are often in the communities, bridging the gap between multiple generations. The family’s mission is to provide an environment where people are valued and appreciated, honoring personal choice and providing a sense of purpose while enabling meaningful relationships. PositiveOaks at Braselton
The in-home assessment is great, other places wanted us to come to their facility for them to assess prospective residents. The food is good and he does not complain about it but portions are a bit small if you go eat with them. Memory care staff do a good job but sometimes do not remember to do special things that you ask them to do. Probably is best to leave notes for staff if something special needs to be done. Cleanliness is great, no odors as you go through the facility.

We have been pleased with the care mother has received at Oaks Braselton. [name removed] is wonderful. She did an excellent job orienting us to the procedures of getting mother settled in. She is available for questions and takes care of whatever needs we have. The staff in memory care work hard to keep her comfortable and safe. They are also welcoming to the family when we come for visits. They are patient with all the residents always reassuring them and comforting them when they’re distressed. The facilities are…

PositiveGreat staff
5 for all categories. The Oaks at Braselton was an all around positive experience for my mother and the family. My FIL is at a much newer and more modern facility but his care has not been as good. The staff are not as helpful or as emphatic as the staff at The Oaks.

The Oaks is welcoming and well maintained. They have recently undergone a management change so that has had its issues. They are working through them. The head of nursing is amazing and a great communicator. Overall we have been happy with the level of care received.
