★★★★★
PositiveThe administrative staff are "hands on". They are very good at knowing the residents needs and are very accommodating. The staff try hard to make the residents happy and content. It just has a very nice atmosphere.

CriticalThe place change hands recently. The food is not that good. The day my sister moved in, they fired everybody. That was running the place and no one welcomed her. No one gave us any information and we still have no information. They don't give toilet paper to the rooms, but two rolls a week. And they didn't tell us about that we just recently, learned it, we have to bring the paper, and then they steal it. The med techs lie, i also think that the nurse lies. She's new. I's just a real mess there. My sister's room…

PositiveOverall, we are very happy with The Vistas of Oxnard Senior Living Center. The administrators are awesome; every single encounter I have had with the staff has been courteous and professional. The facility is clean. The food is actually one of the best things that my dad has to say about this place, and my dad is a very picky eater, so that is saying a lot! They have a movie every night which my folks enjoy from time to time. I think that overall, the people that work there actually care about the residents which i…

PositiveGenerally care is good. They will be changing management in November. There have been a few times when we have had some challenges. Management took care of it right away. They have tried hard to hire staff. The complaint of the young people is it's too much work and they quit. I am generally satisfied. We’re all human and no place is going to be perfect. Example : My husband's meal delivery was late. They check on him every two hours as promised. He gets his bath as promised. Caregivers are friendly and helpful. Ma…

CriticalStaff is super friendly. Clean facilities. Lots of staffing turnover They need better transport. They say they have it but they don't I would recommend the facility depending on the patient. Older and kind of out of it, yes. Young and still in sound mind, then no

CriticalManager and sales director left shortly after occupancy, communications very poor. Working staff friendly, and med tech responsive, but phone often unanswered. Raising rate now by going to charge extra for laundry, usually included in fee, Room is clean and neat, things look ok, but something just isn't right here.
