About Palo Alto Commons
Palo Alto Commons offers assisted living services at a community located in Palo Alto, California. We welcome residents aged 55 years and older. Our purpose-built community was constructed to provide residents with specialized care to meet every aspect of their day to day needs. In addition to assistance with activities of daily living, we offer regularly scheduled off-site experiences and trips. We want residents to have access to everything they need, both inside and outside of our community. We don’t expect you to move in without your beloved pet, so we allow dogs and cats in private rooms. Loved ones are able to visit you, hassle-free, with our free guest parking. Community Services We provide a dining experience with a personal chef and kitchen staff who prepare three meals a day. Our dining area is very unique, with glass ceilings which allow the sun's healing rays in while you enjoy a meal. In addition to proper nutrition, we have specially curated on-site activities that stimulate both mental and physical well-being. Our community offers a healthy-living program for cognitive, dietary, and physical health to ensure residents live their best and healthiest lives. For residents who are reluctant to participate in social or recreational activities, we offer positive and stimulating alternatives. Some of the personal services we provide include: A dedicated concierge in the lobby On-site beautician Housekeeping Laundry and dry cleaning Nearby offsite devotional services Living Options and Amenities We offer studio and one-bedroom units for residents who would like a place of solace and relaxation. First floor units are available for residents with limited mobility issues. Let us know what your preferences are and we will accommodate! Care Types Offered Palo Alto Commons is a residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE) , which in the state of California is a housing arrangement for persons 60 years or older where supervision and personal care is provided based on the needs of the residents. These facilities are also known as assisted living facilities and board and care facilities. A residential care facility may provide care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s. PositiveOur Experience
My loved one is currently a resident at Palo Alto Commons and everything about her experience at this facility has been great so far. Things seem to be working out well for her. The move in process went smoothly. The food is excellent. Communication with the family could be better, but is by no means insufficient. The housekeeping is okay, I have heard no complaints. I would recommend Palo Alto Commons to others.

PositiveGood Care
They took very good care of my mom at Palo Alto Commons. She recently passed away but I was very happy with the care they provided for her. They did a good job of making sure she was comfortable. They were very attentive and responsive to her needs. I liked that they had plenty of staff and did not seem overworked like they were at the previous community. There was a nice big beautiful courtyard. And they have a little aviary inside one of the common areas. I would definitely recommend this community to others.
