The facility was very clean and neat and well lit. The staff was friendly and helpful. The residence we met were also friendly. the apartments we saw were nice, clean, and well organized. They were roomy and very comfortable looking.

The only reason I treated a 4 is they have had staffing issues with the kitchen that has affected food quality. Those issues seem to have been worked out, but time will tell. Some issues getting access to the van for appointments. Otherwise all care has been excellent.

Loved the plant nursery overlooking the pool. This was the fifth assisted living facility we toured in the week and Palos verdes is worth a second look. It provides for two person lifts and has a hoyer lift. Got to sit in on one of their entertainment shows for residents

We give Palos Verde an overall 4. The facility is beautiful and well kept. The staff was very caring. In our situation most of the family was out of state with one member local. Those of us out of state initially struggled to communicate with staff when we left phone messages. We did find questions and issues were better addressed with email communication. Mom did have very limited mobility and energy when she moved into the community and did not partake many of the activities. But the staff certainly tried to get …

Do your homework and read the fine print.

Make sure to read the fine print of their contact. They charged my mother for 60 days of services she did not receive. The care was mostly acceptable however the staff was always rushed when taking care of my mother. Staff turn over was definitely a problem.

Great staff

I have lived here for 2 years and the staff are amazing. There are always ups and downs but overall couldn't ask for better people that work here. Happy hour is my favorite time to spend time with my friends.
