PositiveBeing vigilant is always important.
Responding to emails is haphazard. Discussing items then asking for follow-ups that don't always happen. General communication is lacking. Staff competence is questionable, at times. No worries about mom's care but I must be on top of everything. Every couple of weeks I ask for medication list to verify everything and (from experience) make sure nothing has come off without my knowledge or accidently.

Staff turnover has been high which is concerning-with that said my mom has had no issues thus far with the staff she says everyone has been nice. The food is ok-she has no complaints about breakfast but does complain about the food on lunches/dinners -with that said I think it's fine I've eaten there numerous times. They provide a nice clean environment for the seniors and I believe do a pretty good job of having a good safe environment with activities

Communication with the staff has been a challenge. There doesn't seem to be one centralized staff member who can direct remote family member questions to. Also, when my dad passed, the first contact I had from paramount was not to express their sympathies or even just to give me guidance on next steps, but rather to ask what I planned on doing with my mom. Activities seem plentiful on site, but trips to the store or even to go to restaurants in the area are extremely limited. My parents both complained about the f…

PositiveGreat choice for a loved one
All 5 except #8.it is a good value but everything is a la carte. They raised the rent, but mom was on a fixed income. She and we couldn't afford it anymore. They were wonderful and kind. My mm loved her nurses. We did notice a lot of turnover in the last few months. But the new nurses and aids were as good as the ones they replaced. It never smelled and was always clean.

The facility is beautiful, very bright and cheery. It's very clean and my mother said they clean her room very well on a regular basis. The nurses and aides are very nice and caring. The whole admission process was very smooth and [name removed] was wonderful! Overall my mother enjoys the meals. Her only complaint is sometimes she could eat more, especially meals that are her favorites. Dad has been living there since December of 2024 and likes it very much. I have recently visited and found it to be a nice facility. Clean well maintained staff is attentive and accommodating. My brother visits with my dad often and says so far they are a great fit for our dad.
