Community Amenities and Services No two residents have the same needs, which is why they provide a variety of service options. They specialize in memory care, ambulatory care, diabetic care, personal care, and medication management. They also have access to a network of community doctors, nurses, and therapists who are available to provide additional care services as needed. Residents enjoy three family-style meals each day that are thoughtfully prepared with nutrition and satisfaction in mind. They are happy to make dietary accommodations as needed. In between meal times, take advantage of their robust calendar of activities. Join in everything from ice cream socials, arts and crafts, music events, current events, cookie decorating, puzzles, piano playing, reading, and more. Staff is always looking to try new things and are open to suggestions. Living Arrangements Park Place Assisted Living offers all residents studio apartments in campus cottages. Each cottage is designed to house twelve residents, with common areas for dining and small group activities. Individual studios come equipped with amenities such as WiFi, cable or satellite TV, wheelchair-accessible showers. Some ground-floor units and units with bathtubs are also offered when available. Care Types Offered Park Place Assisted Living is a residential facility for groups , which in the state of Nevada is an establishment that provides food, shelter, assistance, and limited supervision to a person with an intellectual disability or with a physical disability, or a person who is aged or infirm. It is a very different but nice setting. Not a traditional facility. It's more like a home. The residents all eat together like a family. They do not have visiting hours, family can visit 24/7. They could improve by adding more staff, better cooks.

There’s been a lot of turnover of most key staff, which has negatively impacted service and made it difficult to assess. I’m hoping things will improve over time with a new staff. Food looks pretty grim but I’ve been told meals will improve. Quite a difference from the meals we saw at other Reno/Sparks facilities. So far (a year now), residents still have not received an annual flu or Covid shot. I keep asking. The relatively new office staff [name removed], is a gem and they are lucky to have her! What we like the most about Park Place is definitely the people and we would most definitely recommend this community to other families. My mom hated it but would've hated anywhere. The only thing I didn't like was there's several tables in different places for I think 6 people each. I would have preferred a large cafeteria area. My mom never would go sit with the others. They were really good during hospice also

The facility is small and located in a neighborhood. So, it doesn't feel like a hotel or cruise ship setting. The location is on a quiet street. I like that the facility is gated. The staff always greet the residents by name and know them well. Dining is family style so nobody is left out. My dad loves to play Bingo!
