Pegasus Landing of Overland Park (formerly known as Glenwood Village of Overland Park) provides assisted living and memory care services to seniors in the Overland Park, Kansas area. The city of Overland Park has excellent healthcare and recreational options, making it an ideal place for retirement. Our spacious apartments come with all of the comforts of home. Apartments range in size from 315-square-foot studios to 640-square-foot deluxe one-bedrooms. There are five sizes and multiple floor plans to choose from, but all apartments are equipped with: •Private bathrooms •Individual climate controls •Kitchenettes •Large picture windows •Ample storage space •Emergency response systems in all rooms In addition to our beautiful apartments you will find graciously appointed common areas that are perfect for relaxing, socializing with friends, and having fun with family. We offer a private dining room for entertaining guests, a state-of-the-art fitness center and an in-house beauty parlor. Residents also enjoy having ice cream socials in our very own ice cream parlor, as well as frequent outdoor barbecues in one of our private courtyards. Activities are an important part of the experience at our community, and we try to plan events that residents find enjoyable. Some of these include: •Exercise classes •Shopping trips •Manicures and massages •Lunch outings •Bingo, rummy, Wii bowling and other fun games

-STAFF My sister-in-law doesn't receive care as promised by her assigned care plan without a fight or alot of drama. Everytime I visit or speak with them this is an issue. We have met with management several times and it seems improvement in care is always very short lived. -LAUNDRY AND CLEANING SERVICES My brother has to inventory their dirty laundry every Sunday because staff keeps losing their clothes and other items. The staff at Pegasus were friendly and professional. The facility was in a convenient location for all family members. It was not so large that mom would be overwhelmed trying to make adjustments, but large enough to accommodate her needs. The price was within her budget. The main attraction was that there is a nurse for each floor 24/7 and a doctor twice a week. She even makes visits on unscheduled days if needed. The kitchen and dining room staff were very nice. The activities and activity directors were fantastic! Lisa, who sat at the front desk, was incredibly kind to out loved one and always nice when we came to visit. Denise, the marketing/resident recruiter, sold us on moving our loved one into the facility because of their alleged knowledge of dementia and the care that is needed. Highly recommend PL

My dad was at Pegasus Landing while receiving treatments in the metro that aren't available in his small hometown. The goal was for him to receive assisted living care for a few months so he could focus on treatments and healing. Pegasus landing was amazing by giving him a comfortable place, great food, fun activities, and caring staff.

True blessing

Outstanding customer services. The staff is amazing. The director of nursing spent a lot of time going over everything with me. The facility is definitely one of the nicer places I have been to and the food is definitely like going to a restaurant. The quality of the food is outstanding. The activities they have to offer is amazing. I have seen my mother smile more in a few weeks being at the Pegasus. She is excited and I see her doing much more and overall health is better

Lovely Large Rooms, Great for Couples

The only drawback is the food. If there were more food choices that would be helpful as well. The room size is what really is important to my parents. Not many facilities take into consideration couples going into care together. Its the only place we found where their king size bed fits. They also have 2 bathrooms which is really nice since my Mom needs seats and my Dad doesn't. The staff is very kind and caring. The facility is clean and in nice shape.
