I'm very happy with Pelican Point and I think [name removed] is generally happy there. Her memory issues are a challenge, so sometimes I have trouble knowing what's actually happening. I'd like her to have a shower once a week regularly and for her laundry to be done (including sheets and towels) every 2 or 3 weeks. The staff has been consistently very friendly and helpful. The staff was friendly and helpful from the start. The food was very good and my mom really liked the bingo games. Her room was usually clean. The room itself was wonderful. It was just the right size and she liked watching the pigeons out the window. I think the only thing that was missing was getting the TV mounted on the wall. Mom did not get to become accustomed to her surroundings because she was only there for a month before she passed away. I feel like she would have had many good times if she had lived ther…

PositivePelican Pointe is a lifesaver (literally)!
We moved my aunt into Pelican Pointe a few months ago after she was diagnosed with dementia. We now go to sleep every night knowing she is looked after and taken care of. They have constant activities that she takes part in and she has a social group of residents and staff she is constantly interacting with! We love knowing she’s not alone and being loved on and cared for!

I have lived at pelican pointe for a year now after I had a fall. I was unsure about moving into assisted living but once I moved in I have met new people I have friends I get to socialize with others and the staff is loving and caring. Always helping me when I need help.I have somebody to be around at all times now I also have a lovely apartment that my daughter set up so beautiful. I would choose pelican pointe to be my forever home.
