Peninsula Pointe by Cogir

Very nice facility, tour given by [name removed] was great, we met and spoke with a number of the residents. All positive input except one gentleman who said he wasn’t impressed by the food. Rooms are all very nice, only thing is not furnished, have supply all your own bed, dressers, tv, etc.

Facility was clean and appeared well organized. The marketing personnel were friendly and well knowledgeable on facility, and value of respite care. Enjoyed the tour.

Great choice

The staff are nice, generally very receptive. My mom says the food is great. In the beginning she enjoyed all the activities it's just that now she's lost interest but I'm sure they are still good. It's very clean. From my research it's reasonably priced compared to similar. The other residents seem satisfied there as well I've never heard any complaints or seen anything negative.

Everyone was very friendly. I liked the place and would consider it for Mom. But they only had studios available. Also the outdoor area, though surrounded by pine trees, could be decorated to be more inviting for walking etc.

Don't judge a book by it's cover

Poor management,disorganized and non responsive. The food is very poor cooking ,poor menu planning and has no understanding of low sodium or other nutrition basics. The ancillary staff tried hard to do well but hindered by poor leadership.

Professional and compassionate staff.

I feel the staff really do care about the residence, and since staff turnover appears to be low, the staff gets to know every resident and treats them as friends, with kindness and compassion.
