PositiveI would recommend to others. I visited 3 Communities. 2 of the Communities were financially out of my reach and a further distance from my home than Poets Walk. I loved the atmosphere in Poets, the staff are so friendly, kind and truly seem to care for the residents.

PositiveWhat we like the most about the community is that the staff members know each resident's name including their requests when nonverbal. I've been very impressed. Their medical staff is great

PositiveIt's a very nice place for folks who need it. My friend says she doesn't much like the food but I think she has lost taste and smell. Rooms are not huge and most have two people but they don't need much. There is room for two beds, 2 chest of drawers and 2 bedside tables and one arm chair they can share. I think they are rarely in their rooms so they don't need much except clothes.
Response from the communityThank you for sharing your thoughts. We're glad to hear you find the community to be a nice place for those who need support. We understand that personal preferences, especially around food, can vary—especially if health changes affect taste and smell. Your observations about the rooms are spot-on; while they’re modest in size, we strive to make them comfortable and functional, knowing that so much of the daily experience happens outside the room, in shared spaces and activities. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective!
