Arden Courts Fair Oaks, A Memory Care Community

Our experience

I have no other facility to compare them to. A positive feature of Arden is their 4 communities. During the first few weeks I expressed some concerns and they moved my wife to another section and addressed the issues. The food is great, customized and very healthy. Staff is experienced and very patient with all levels of residents. They recently upgraded their activities programs and received more participation by residents. Rooms and facilities are clean and well maintained.

Lovely community

My cousin is living at Arden Courts of Fair Oaks. Every time I come to see her she is well put together and seems very content. I have gotten familiar with the caregivers, and they let me know how she has been doing. The community is clean and does not have a smell. The staff all greet you with a "hello" and a smile.

Overall would recommend

I have visited my sister twice since she has been a resident at Arden Courts Fair Oaks. Both times I travelled down on a Thursday and back on a Sunday, so I was able to visit her for about 3 hours on Thursday and 9-10 hours on Friday and Saturday. I was very impressed with the staff and loved the residents, as well. The neighborhood set up is adorable and so manageable for staff. Engaged and Caring staff.

I have been to many Assisted Living and Memory Care communities as part of my job. Arden Courts Fair Oaks is definitely one of the best. The residents are clean and well taken care of by patient friendly staff. The activities run throughout the day, and they have a beautiful outdoor area. The food looks and smells very good, and the residents seem to love it.

Facility was well maintained and very clean. The staff members I met greeted me with a smile. The seniors were well dressed and some were participating in an art project and others watching TV in the family room. I’m glad I had the chance to see the facility. It’s high on my list of memory care centers for my mom.

#1-overall experience: 3. However I didn't venture in to this with expectations greater than a 3. After all, it is a nursing home! #2-Cleanliness of the facility: 4. I would almost consider 5 if it were not for the filthy TV room furniture. That furniture was absolutely horrible. #3-Friendliness: 5.
