My mother has been a resident of PH since [date removed]. I have previously written a very favorable review. Unfortunately, I can no longer remain positive or recommend this facility. Prairie Hills has been sold to a different company. The new slogan seems to be "Pay more for Less". I accidentally walked in a meeting today where the administrator told the residents who were complaining about horrid meals "Just because we stay in our offices doesn't mean we don't care." PositiveThe staff care deeply for my aunt.
My husband and I are very pleased with the care our aunt is receiving at Prairie Hills Assisted Living. My aunt is eating well, taking her medication, has gained back some weight, seems happier and is interacting socially again. The staff treats her with respect, considers her wishes and keeps her safe. The Physical Therapy she has received a problem with drop foot that is being treated to improve her gait and prevent falls. We are thankful!

It is very cost-effective. They take good care of my mom. They are very involved with her. They have two sized rooms. My mom has the smaller one which is enough room for her, she spends most of her time out in the community areas. The food is really good.
