Very good care

We moved our Aunt into 5 Star of Reno a year and a half ago. She fit in almost immediately and has received very good care there. I feel the staff are very caring and attentive and they really try to have interesting and varied activities for the residents. My Aunt particularly enjoys the exercise classes, physical therapy, and the drumming classes.

Thumbs Up

The overall experience is a solid 4. Cleanliness is a 5. Friendliness of staff is a 5. Quality of care is a 4. It's difficult to provide assistance for a Parkinson's patient. My caring for a husband with Ataxia would rate a 4 as well because you can't keep up with this kind of person. Meals, I've eaten there and it's not a 5 star kind of dining, but the food is presented well, tasty and made fresh in house. However, the kitchen has changed hands. Based on my past experience, I would give it a solid 4. They have a n

On [date removed] I took my 88-year-old father to visit this pretty location in Reno. We visited with a sales counselor who told us about this property and wisely shared the importance of being “proactive rather than reactive” when making a decision about when to make an important move like this. We were impressed with him and his conscientious, kind, patient, and respectful demeanor. He showed us the fantastic movie theater, serene exterior areas, and we could appreciate that they have an impressive, elegant libra

Freedom and peace of mind

As a single senior woman with no family locally, I chose to live at Premier Residence of Reno because owning and maintaining a house with a large yard became too much of a burden and expense. Living here I enjoy the variety of meals served all day long, the weekly housekeeping, the activities and weekly field trips, and the peace and quiet of the beatiful surroundings.

HOME after 60-yrs TOGETHER

60-yrs included 50-yrs running a High-Tech Information Firm. My wife suffered a stress related stroke in 2020 and I a US Navy service-disabled Veteran of Vietnam, realized a need to revise plans for retirement. We closed that High-Tech Info Firm! Our daughter (at Lake Tahoe) found Five-Star Assisted Living Facility for us. The 5-Star support staff has provided guidance for mending as proven by the past year! • Front desk (concierge & Mgmt.-Team) focal point to address & alert us of all. • Support staff included

Living Experience

Dad mostly enjoys living at Premier 5 Star. The care is good when they have enough employees. They do have a problem keeping employees. They’ve been short staff for a long time. I believe it’s been going on 3 years. Due to the short staff the dining room is closed, so the food is delivered to the resident. The food arrives cold and unappetizing.
