Everything is great, my room, all of the employees, the food, transportation, activities and the other people who live here. No complaints from me. (It would be nice to have a Pepsi machine).

Nice place

Hard question. Really individual based. In person tour important. [name removed] wasn't with me which couldn't be helped but would made decision-making easier. Especially because he could have tried the food or perhaps if local seen someone he knew. Knowing someone gives you a connection to friend making later

A place for mom - a Godsend! They recently set up a tour at 3 senior living sites one of which was Provincial. The manager was my guide. She was so knowledgeable, kind and helpful. In the end Provincial was our top choice and I’m delighted to say my brother in law has plans to move in by the end of the month. A stress situation turned actually turned out to be pretty stress free!

This facility has great value for the money. Lots of activities, a library and pets are allowed. There is an exercise room and the average age of the residents is 83.

Provincial Chico experience

Staff and management are very resident focused and address issues in a very timely manner. The food is good but more importantly you are offered a wide variety of alternative entrees to the day's specials and a long list of sides you can add to your meal, including several salads.

One month

The verdict is still out. The food situation seems pretty good. The Chef is open to specialty needs when requested. We moved in on a weekend and did not get a very warm greeting from any employees or staff. Actually seemed to be very few people around at all. One desk person who was less than helpful. We have been trying to get a land line for 3 weeks no one at the facility seems to know anything about services and again not very helpful. I like the condition of the facility and the quaint size.
