Friendly staff but very busy running up stairs with tablets in hand, clean but very sterile entryway attractive, outdoor environment average size rooms. Only one elevator to use in case of emergency the publicity director tells me they have special chairs to help evacuate from the upstairs level similar to other assisted living facilities I have visited.

Critical

I would recommend this place for people who speak up and like to socialize but not for those who are past that ability!

They are quite good at planning and doing a good job of making Dad happy on his 101st birthday!! Improve on meals too many soups etc. Another disappointing thing as we have no table except in the dining hall where he and I can play a two handed card game...the round ones are too small and I brought one into his room but now I hurt my back and can longer set it up and the room we used to play in is off limits now.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful feedback and what a milestone! We're so glad our team could make your dad's 101st birthday a special one. We truly appreciate you sharing the areas where we can do better. Your comments about meal variety are noted, and we'll be passing that feedback along to our dining team. We also want to make sure you and your dad have a comfortable space to enjoy your card games together. That kind of one-on-one time is so meaningful, and your feedback will help us find a better solution. Thank you again for being such a caring and involved family member. Your dad is lucky to have you.

Our family's experience

For anything that needs to be done, replaced or fixed, I have to contact them multiple times before it is done. Do not use the renters insurance they offer, it has terrible ratings. The employees are very nice.

Exceeded Expectations

Everyone was responsive and sweet to our Mom. We were always greeted with a smile and welcomed by the front office staff. The med techs were knowledgeable and worked with Mom's hospice team to ensure she was palliated timely. The aides were friendly and gentle and kept her room clean and tidy. The Redwood Heights building could use some painting and the carpets need constant cleaning, but otherwise it was clean. The availability of food was good, but often Mom could not eat it because of what was being served and h

I think they are overall good...but slow to repair any problems is the room. And I am concerned about the changes in the food. Not what it was 6 weeks ago. Less protein over all and fewer choices. Also breakfast is now a buffet...not getting what you want. scrambled eggs often.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear your overall experience has been positive, and we truly appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. We understand how frustrating it can be when apartment repairs take longer than expected, and we also recognize how important consistency and choice are when it comes to dining. Your comments about fewer options, less protein, and the recent breakfast changes are being taken seriously. If you’re willing, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can better understand your experience and follow up on both maintenance and dining improvements.

Took a tour today and enjoy it very much. It was clean and smelled good. Had engaging staff that dress professional. The Rooms are spacious and feel warm and friendly. Overall, the community is one that I could see putting my family in.
