My mom has been a resident at Refreshing Springs for several years. I am very pleased with the facility and the staff. She is well cared for and I am kept updated with any concerns regarding her. The facility is clean, the staff are caring, she enjoys the food and is very content being at Refreshing Springs.

The daily staff were very good and friendly, but the owner was terrible. And that really impacted how I feel about the place. I feel like all she cared about was the money, and not the care of the residents. My loved one was very ill, and she barely spoke to us, barely called us, barely did anything. What separates one place from another is the people that you interact with there. The folks at Refreshing Springs were very attentive to my dad's need and to my needs and requirements. The ratio of caregivers to residents is more than what you can get other places. If the state required 2 caregivers for every 5 residents, Refresing Springs would have 3.
