Would not recommend

Management changed in [date removed]. They changed food service and chef and quality of meals declined significantly. Most seemed to have no interest in the residents, only the money. Elevator and front doors were broken for weeks...staff were disgruntled which showed in their work. My personal experience was unacceptable.

1-I think one thing to point out is how they should be advised to ask if they are being provided with ALL contracts. We didn’t know we were even missing one. 2-Also advise speaking with/interviewing not only current residents but also the director of nurses and director of operations and asking how any problems will be dealt with. To look at contract for issues such as care, meds, arbitration, etc. 3- to look in contract for things like how staffing issues are dealt with.Ex: People quit and get sick. What immedia

PLEASE don't bring you family member here

I could never recommend this place to anyone. They are dangerously short staffed and when a resident is in dire need of help it is not available. We called "concierge" 6 hours straight and left messages. We got in touch with a live person ([name removed]) once and left 5 message requesting that somebody physically hand my mother her cell phone since it was her life line and she was incapacitated. 6 hours-and nobody could help her with a one minute request. They only responded when we said we'd call the police depar

Overall experience was fair. It was very clean and the staff was for the most part friendly. Quality of care was only fair. It depended on who was caring. Meals and dining good. Activities were mostly limited, a lot of time was spent in front of tv. The cost was generally in keeping with going rates in other homes. Questionable about having to provide furniture and bedding and towels and soap. Regarding care my husband must have fallen , whether once or twice, and it was never reported to me even after several inq

Review for Anthology of Farmington

Staff is friendly & caring. Food is not that good. Not geared to the age. Given large pieces of meat with no way to cut it. Very few activities in memory care unit. Mostly watch tv or sit outside. Sometimes a painting class. My largest concern is the lack of communication. My calls go to voicemail and never returned. Overall it is a nice place. Especially the main part. Memory care is where they are lacking.

Anthology of Farmington

The staff in memory care were kind to my Mom The food was fair especially compared to [removed] The most difficult as a family member is the lack of communication from administration and staff...it's catch can! They promised us 3 fobs to get into memory care and we never got more that 1 and constantly asked. Memory care is a challenge and very different from assisted living.
