Our mom is new to Serenity Assisted Living in Manteno and from the first day, she talks of how comfortable and safe she feels and how she feels right at home. The staff are attentive to her needs and offer her kind assistance with daily living activities. She especially loves the homecooked meals and that everyone treats her like she is family. She speaks highly of the nurse who provides her with weekly home care. He personalizes his visits, listens to her stories, and asks her for updates when he next visits. So…

This facility is a hidden gem ! Manteno Springs provides mom with a large room, 3 meals a day, housekeeping and laundry service. When she is ill and needs additional care, they coordinate services. They have hospice care available also. She has been at Manteno Springs for over a year and is better physically and socially. The residents are her new friends, a social connection she needed. She has also gained weight and strength. Manteno Springs provides mom the care she needs yet allows her a measure of independence…
