CriticalFriendly Staff But Not our First Choice.
Changed personnel from the first visit also confusion with long-term care insurance that is yet to be resolved. Food is served at room temperature. The facility has been sold without prior notification. Staff seems to be friendly. Wish I had waited until Hawkins Creek had an opening in their memory care. They were my first choice.

PositiveOur family's experience has been positive and we feel she is safe and cared for at Heartis.
The staff is helpful, friendly , and supportive! My sister is in a studio apartment which is always clean and welcoming! The food is good, too! Lots of planned daily activities!

CriticalQuality of care needs improvement
The staff does not care for her needs consistently such as grooming and dressing, my mother in law is in memory care. Could be cleaner, her apartment/room often smells of urine.

Like most assisted living facilities be prepared for the med tech and care giver turnover. Prepare to visit often and talk to staff as much as possible. When deciding on an assisted living facility visit more than once before making a decision.

PositiveHeartis Longview
Heartis was assisted living and the overall experience was good. Good enough we would have left them there and just moved them into memory care. Sadly, the Heartis memory care facility is tiny, and could not accommodate them together in one room.
