About Solana at the Park

Solana at the Park features a modern, Pueblo-style exterior that warmly welcomes residents to a beautiful two-story community surrounded by green trees. The community offers assisted living and is situated in a residential neighborhood, close to many restaurants, medical facilities, and shops. The area also offers several golf courses and parks where residents can enjoy sunny days. The community prioritizes attention to detail and thoughtful care. With licensed nurses on-site 24/7 to oversee care and provide regular health screenings, residents are set to lead healthy lifestyles. Plus, the care staff is readily available to offer assistance with daily living activities. When it comes to entertainment, Solana at the Park kicks it out of the park. Purposeful amenities fill the halls to offer residents small moments of joy. Residents are free to utilize common areas, such as the fitness center and luxury spa, or they can stroll the walking paths or enjoy relaxing by the fountain. At the end of the day, when residents want to unwind, they can do so in their studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom apartment where pets are welcome. Apartments can even be shared for those who prefer to have companionship. Beautiful facility but below standard care.

The facility is very nice physically but not enough staffing for the number of people. My husband was there for a 10 day respite visit and they totally screwed up his meds. The med tech wasn't fluent in English and gave the wrong meds at the wrong time if at all. He had 3 meds starting with M and she thought they were all the same. And I caught her giving him his sleeping pill at 10 in the morning!! The never received a shower the entire time he was there. It was just not a good experience. He could barely ambulate

Review for Solana at the Park

My mother paid extra for a higher level of care that was inconsistently delivered. Staff was not always trained as they should be, many did not use proper procedures to control cross contamination. This was a constant issue, dangling bracelets when providing personal care, long hair in the way etc. etc. There was confusion over medications.

Overall a nice community

A good experience working with your team. From out of town so your recommendations were so helpful. We chose Salanta at the Park. They were very kind to my sister and brother in law. Sadly my sister only lived for about 10 days and brother in law [date removed]. Cleanliness was satisfactory. I was only there a couple of times to get them settled. Friendly helpful staff. With my limited exposure I feel they took good care of my loved ones. My brother in law had dementia so his activities were TV. I was not present f

Solana at the Park

Be very clear about the level of care you are charged for and receive Be cautious about medications/ always ask what meds are being given The food is acceptable but for those with difficultly chewing the menu is not ideal, even soups have big chunks of veggies etc

Food Service and Dietary Provisions

The quality and nutrition of the food has gone down. More food is being wasted than is being eaten due to poor quality and poor food choices. There is a lot of fried food being served that is overcooked and not healthy. Examples are overcooked breaded shrimp, overcooked breaded fried fish, hamburger & chicken breast overcooked, dry, and hard to chew. Even though items are on the daily menus they are not available (e.g. eggs at breakfast). The other menu that says "you can order these items at any time" are also not
