Review for Solstice at Santa Rosa

It's a nice place with a lot of great staff members. Since it isn't an assisted living space, the care isn't as much of a thing. They are very attentive about things like activities and helping people when needed. The food has been good and my parents seem to love the choices. Solstice has been dealing with continuous staffing challenges. Some days they don't have enough servers and a lot of turnover in the staff. The apartments are the best part. Beautiful views and a good size.

Short but Good Experience

The meal service provided, the option to utilize Fox Home Health nursing services when applicable (unfortunately my mother ended up not being able to use this service as she required 24/7 care after hospital discharge so I had to move her somewhere else not long after moving to Solstice), the community events, and activities offered. My mom went from being noticeably depressed living in a standard apartment alone to being social, engaging with others, and talking about the future from the short two weeks she lived …

This was the first place like this that I have seen. I’m planning ahead for a move like this but I really don’t have anything to compare it with. I’m just trying to get a feel for what these places will be like. This one is clean and well maintained… didn’t really meet any of the residents and of course this will be a major change for me.

The Atmosphere was warm and welcoming; building and activity areas were clean uncluttered and “spoke” to the usage. All staff I met were informed, friendly, and eager to discuss issues and answer questions. Met 2 Resident Ambassadors who actually “sold” the place. The tour was well planned hitting all activity rooms/areas available (there are many) to residents on every floor. Beautiful location for independent living

It's worth shortlisting and do the visit and lunch. Great for independent living. I would recommend but only if they were looking for independent living. If there is a greater level of care needed, there are a lot of great choices in the area.

Solstice Senior Living - Thumbs Up

[name removed] and team at Solstice Senior Living are great. They are caring, watchful, and took good care of our mom. We worried about how Mom would adjust to having moved from out of state. She quickly adjusted to her large, updated apartment, as well as to daily life at Solstice. They paired her up with a “buddy” so that she would make friends and learn her way around easily.
