A friendly and attentive staff makes for positive experience

Like: Very friendly and attentive staff. Small enough that everyone knows the residents. Activities leader is wonderful. Responsive to Mom's requests. Nurse is also very good. Improve: quality and variety of food. And they serve way too much to each person, much gets wasted (which is just costing them/us more money). They did just hire new chef, so perhaps it will get better.

We liked this facility as it was smaller than other facilities we saw and seems best suited to my dad's needs. What struck me the most, and what I did not see with the larger places, was how the staff knew the residents by name and their individual needs, likes, dislikes, etc. Whatever questions I had, [name removed] and [name removed] were able to answer easily and with confidence. The staff were all friendly and appeared to like their jobs.

Over all 5 stars. It is very clean, the nursing staff is great. They could use better food, but all facilities could. I would very highly recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

I visited Sonata on [Date Removed]. This is a very welcoming and pleasant assisted living facility. The staff is very friendly from the front desk (Coach) to[Name Removed] who was my guide. She was able to answer all of my questions and gave me valuable information on the whole process. The dining room staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Sonata Delray Beach

I feel like the dining room, ladies and the ladies who give the medicine have a job to do and they just wanna get it done. I don't feel like they are patient or kind. Most of the staff are wonderful. And the activity people are wonderful. The lady who helps is always laughing and very kind. I love the fact that Sonata is very small and I really do think it's a good place except for maybe two people that aren't very nice.

Nothing major, just had a little issue connecting with the business office. Just felt homey. Rooms are large activities all day long.
