PositiveTheir employees are top notch and how they hire such nice people is amazing. The reason I would not give them a 5 is probably typical of most Assisted Living facilities, but we have some issues with how often they call 911 whenever there's any incident (fall, cut) and it is truly up to them if they feel your family member is too big of a health risk. They're trying to work with us to keep dad there, but we're going through a lot to make this happen.

PositiveThe staff at Sonata are phenomenal!! There is not one person who doesn't smile and say hello, or offer to help. I've even seen the Director in the hallways touching up paint. They have been above and beyond. However, my dad had a health issue that took about two months to get cleared up. I was unsure of where the disconnect was....and I think I've narrowed it down to their in-house physician. Although he's extremely convenient, I think I would suggest future residents to keep their current physician.

PositiveSonata Viera is certainly a place to look at if it fits your family member's needs. Compared to other places in the area, it totally outshines them. They have a great number of activities to keep the residents involved all day long. It took a while for my loved one to get acclimated, but she's doing fine there now. She's happy with the food. It's expensive, but the cost is competitive with other places.
