I would rate all the above 5! It's a wonderful place with helpful helpers. Not cheap but worth the money! They are all helpful and "Johnny on the spot". Also know everyone's name. Friendly also!!

PositiveI would recommend to others. I did a great deal of research & comparisons to the other available Assisted Living Facilities in Coralville/Iowa City. Stirlingshire is a mid range option. CriticalWith the exception of 2 of the CMA's one of the CNA's the cooks and front desk receptionist they all need refresher courses in Be Kind and Compassion starting with Mary Director of Nursing. The residents are people with feelings and should be treated as that not as an inconvenience. You do not know their stories and/or how they ended up in assisted living.

PositiveThere's a fair amount of turnover in dining staff because of low wages and tips are forbidden. The facility is close to University Hospital. There are many activities offered for residents.

CriticalPlace is great as long as you are aging gracefully. Once a serious illness happens, the care diminished greatly. For paying $[removed]k+ a month, we expected much more in care than was received the last month she was there before hospitalization.
