Overall a nice community

My dad was there for 8 months and the facility went thru new ownership starting in January 2025. The food greatly improved and Friday's Happy Hour became happy with live music and food. The care staff was very patient and other staff was always available to answer questions or help. My dad was blind so he was limited with what he could join in on but I know they did fun excursions. They worked with the family and hospice care to make my dad's passing a bit easier.

Ralston Creek

Initially, I liked how attentive & communicative the upper management was in welcoming us/my mother to their community. Since then, they've continued to keep us informed of my mother's well-being and her overall service plan. They've also responded to emails or text messages timely which is HUGE to me. Ghosting customers when it comes to the well-being of their loved ones is a terrible look for a company tasked with taking care of the elderly who suffer from dementia. Review for Ralston Creek Neighborhood Assisted Living & Memory Care

Their onboarding of new Memory Care residents needs improvement. There needs to be a detailed, sit down orientation with families admitting their loved ones so all required services are explained in detail such as laundry services, bedtimes, medication management, etc. We did not have this sit down and have needed to ask when my mother was last bathed, had her hair washed, when her laundry was last laundered, etc. We shouldn't have to ask these questions. We toured with Ralston Creek and it was fine, a little like a big hotel. There were long halls and lots of stairs that would've been hard for my father-in-law to negotiate, which is the main reason we did not go with this facility. The tour was very well done though

Caring and well staffed.

The only thing that doesn't get a 5 is the food (it is often bland). Otherwise, Ralston Creek is great. The staff are very caring, and more importantly the facility is well staffed. My in laws are happy and well cared for there.

Ralston was under constructed, unprofessional and seemed disorganized when we toured the community. We decided to go with another community during the tour process.
