We weren't there very long as my brother ended up being quite a bit in the hospital. But the staff were welcoming, supportive, listening. I believe that he enjoyed the food and that the size of the apartment and layout of the building were appreciated by him.

The people who met us were friendly and helpful. The building has personal space and community space--you could probably find a nice place outside of your room to be in your own space. Though we didn't participate in the activities, we could see that the residents were active and enjoying their programs.

As we toured, I was pleased at the activities that were happening and how happy and involved the residents appeared. One of the things I liked about the layout of the facility was that it had many options for places to gather with family or others or even just to find a nice nook for some alone time. PositiveOur experience with Stoney River
My Mother was there for only 1 1/2 months. Her condition deteriorated quickly and we had to move her into a nursing/hospice facility. But the time she spent there was good. The staff and residents were very nice people who helped her as much as they could. I would recommend Stoney River to anyone who was in a true assisted living situation.
