Very nice facility with wonderful residents

This is potentially a great facility with many staff members who genuinely care about serving the residents well. Our main concern is regarding the consistency of services at this facility. While we frequently experience excellent service (such as with e.g., food service/housekeeping]), the quality fluctuates significantly from day to day. Because the facility clearly has the capacity to deliver a high standard, the frequent drop-offs are concerning and make it difficult to rely on the daily care provided.

It is nice she is adjusting well and she has made friends here. The workers are nice and the food looks really good.

Room for improvement

Since initially moving into independent living, my mom has moved into the memory care (MC) section, so my feedback is for MC. Honestly, an overall score of 3. -Apartment size: 5 It's appropriate for our needs. -Activities: 3 Good when they occur but not frequent enough. -Food is generally good. There is room for improvement in the mealtime environment/ staff engagement. -Cleanliness: 3 -Communication: 2 No organized system for family/staff communication. I only score it above a 1 because the day nurse is good…

A special Place

Good place to live except very expensive. If you can afford the rent this is a very good community to live in Every one that works here is so wonderful and caring. The food is good unit's are nice and homey.

StoryPoint Grove City

We didn't get orientation on laundry day. Cleaning day. How to navigate what things you need to call for and what things you can just expect. She was only eating in her room and meal delivery was an issue and still is. She needed to be more assertive in making her needs known. They do not have a permanent administrator to my knowledge. It was a challenge finding how to arrange visiting physician, podiatrist, and what the nurses can and cannot do and the role of the wellness coordinator. We should have had a sit dow…

Overall good experience

Apparently they've undergone many admin personnel changes in the last several months. There some confusion during the transitions, according to other residents. This probably contributes to some of my scores not being higher. Long-term residents seem to feel things are on the path to being "back on track" in these regards. So, I hope to see some positive changes in these areas. Overall, things are good.
