★★★★★
PositiveI have not had a chance to visit yet, but I am soon! So far though, we are happy with the communication that we receive from Ashford. Since we are long-distance, this is greatly appreciated! [name removed]'s friends and family that have visited have had nothing but positive things to say.
★★★★★
PositiveThey did a good job, it's just a rough time in our lives. I would recommend to others.
★★★★★
CriticalThe Ashford is extremely understaffed, causing a quality of care problem.

Critical3 so far, things could be better. Some of the staff doesn't seem to do their jobs they are more interested in playing on their phones than checking on the seniors. My wife and I had to rescue a woman that had fallen and was telling for help. Also I think a couple of my mom's rings were stolen. They need cameras at least in the hallways to keep their staff honest. I put a camera in my mom's room. They put a note outside her door to warn their staff. Not sure why they feel the need to warn them
★★★★★
PositiveWe learned that in memory care units, the residents will take things from each other. They had warned us about this and not to bring anything of value. It happens more than we expected. We have had to regularly replace items like clothing, slippers, glasses & pictures. I am guessing this is normal. It would be good to set expectations for any family about that is about to go through this.
★★★★★
CriticalIt was nice to know while in assisted living there was an opportunity for a Medicaid waiver. They did provide many opportunities for my Aunt to experience events outside of the facility and activities with in. The common areas of the facility were bright and clean, and the staff appeared friendly. As with any facility, the staff turnover is tremendous and you find one or two gems that are great with your loved ones. My main concern both in memory care and assisted living was the cleaning of the rooms and timelines…
