★★★★★
PositiveDining room staff is not real friendly. Mom complains about the food a lot. Meats fatty. Stew looks like dog food. Salads look like they were already picked at. That type of thing. She is also very displeased about her meal times. 11am and 4pm, which are much earlier than she would like. There is not much flexibility or cooperation in getting that changed.
★★★★★
PositiveMy parents have been at Story Point for 8 months now and I have no complaints. All of the staff seem genuinely concerned for the care and well being of the residents. The facility is always clean and decorated nicely. There are plenty of activities and the salon meets our needs. The only suggestion I would have is that I would like to see diabetic friendly menu choices each meal. Overall, this is a top notch facility.
★★★★★
PositiveWe chose StoryPoint Naperville because of the overall size and that there are many activities, the social aspect. They talk about a family portal to keep track of everything, but they don't actually have one. I would like to see that up and running.
★★★★★
PositiveWe chose the smallest apartment due to finances. Now that she has lived there for a year she loves it. She tells me all the time that she feels safe living there which is huge because she was in her own house for 60 years. There are plenty of activities and weekly trips for those that want to get out and about including weekly church trips. Residential can choose to participate in as many events as they want. Staff is friendly. We had an issue with care staff which is why I wouldn't rate the overall experience a 5.
★★★★★
PositiveStaff is really friendly, the food is really good, amenities are great for my parents and the hair salon my mom loves. Dad really likes the veterans rooms.
★★★★★
CriticalThe caregivers are nice and seem to genuinely care about my father. The community as a whole is clean, and the residents are friendly. I feel that they can work on their communication with staff and families.
