It is much better here. They are better staffed than the previous facility she was at - her room is kept tidy and they feed her. She lost 40 lbs at the previous place. She no longer feeds herself, so I have to rely on them to feed her.

I tell people all the time how wonderful it is to live here. There are plenty of activities and choices in the dining room. The staff are warm and welcoming and make me feel at home. I'm lucky to live somewhere where they trust me like family.

PositiveOne of the reasons I chose to come here was the variety and quality of the meals. That have declined under StoryPoint. I love the availability of activities-exercise, art, music, outside activities, social activities- all which make our community vibrant. The staff is excellent and capable.

PositiveCompanionship, safety, and fun
I have lived at this facility for 3 1/2 years and though no one grows up wanting to move into assisted living, we have to go the best place we can under the circumstance we are in. I have made many friends, and have enjoyed the many activities they provide. The food is quite good, and the facility is clean and well maintained. The staff is kind, and competent, and the atmosphere is family-like.

I have been pleased with everything that has gone on. You sit in the restaurant area and listen to other people talk and you don’t have the same opinions. Not every night do I look at the menu and say do I want that and that not everything is perfect but I have been pleased with a lot of things.

PositiveThe staff is excellent but the upcoming contract is not fantastic
The staff is very helpful. I was moving my car and one of the staff came over and moved my walker for me so it made it much easier. I also needed some work done on my plant. I was repotting my African violet and maintenance drilled a hole in one of the pots for me and housekeeping replanted it for me. All that was so helpful. The nurses are fantastic! Some of the rules of the new contract are not acceptable.
