CriticalPros- 1: The kitchen staff is friendly and serves high quality and generous portions of food. 2: The inside of the facility is clean. 3: The aids are friendly. 4: cost is comparatively low Cons- 1: the secure back yard is not kept up. Porch swing is broken and the yard has never been mowed or weed eaten. 2: The manager [name removed] is rude and will not uphold standards. She refuses to update the care file for Dad. We have found his room unkempt, sheets and blankets missing in the morning when we arrive or …

PositiveMy family member only lived at Summit Ridge Place one month before passing. The staff is extremely friendly, kind, and compassionate. Those are the reasons we chose this place. It is older along with the decor but it is clean and feels homey. I wish it was able to have a hair salon or one that came in for the residents but that is the only negative we noticed in that month (pricey but they all are) Go meet the staff, you will love them!
★★★★★
PositiveAlthough staff was friendly, they were frequently understaffed, and that led to deficiencies in meals ,activities , and overall care.

PositiveThey did an awesome job! Unfortunately my mom got very I'll and died soon after moving there! [Name removed] was particularly helpful and kind. Would highly recommend them. The food was even excellent but I heard their main cook left, I am sure they will miss him.
★★★★★
PositiveI love the staff and they are kind. The staff work well with the family and our loved one. The building could use some maintenance with their windows. The staff communication with the family is great and they are responsive to our questions. There are three meals a day and the staff encourage the residents to go to the dining room. The residents are able to take food back to their room if they would like. Some of the activities available music therapy, events, and more for the residents to participate in.

CriticalI think you need to be male and no trouble. We were very pleased at first and then things changed. My loved one became a behavior problem and they sent them to the ER a number of times. My loved one is very anxious and they made them stay in their room and was not able to walk out their anxiety. On hospice now in the city, and not ideal as the family lives in a different area.
