Great Staff, Great Experience

Sunrise McLean has the friendliness staff. They truly seem to know each resident well and show them love and respect. This is true from the maintenance staff all the way up to administration. The nursing staff are exceptional. Everyone seems to work as a team and do everything to support the services. For example [Name Removed] serve meals and the wait staff will help with dressing. I couldn't ask for a better experience for my mom.

Our family met with [name removed] and [name removed]. They were positive and answered all of our questions. We met other residents and they seemed to like living there. The facility is just beautiful—clean, bright and cheerful. We felt this facility is designed with residents in mind and staff have a heart for this work.

The experience has been good overall.

The only problem I have had was some miscommunication. When matters I was confused about were brought to the attention of the pertinent parties/department, they were immediately addressed so I could understand. Basically my husband and I are very satisfied with his care and attention. There is a lot of love and compassion given to all of the residents. The facilities are well maintained and homey. The unexpected transition to assisted living has gone as smoothly as we could hope given the health issues. Everyone has been helpful and welcoming. Communication and responsiveness has been exceptional. We are grateful for the Sunrise community.

Review for Sunrise of McLean

Staff was great!!Would definitely recommend it. {named removed} son had a stroke last fall which affected his swallowing so he has been on a feeding tube. The tube was removed at the beginning of July. I transferred him from the nursing home in MD to Sunrise McLean Village, mostly because it's a brand new facility and is closer to my home than the other sunrise. Everyone has been very helpful and he is loving his new environment
