The different levels of care and how it can affect your payments as their care changes. So make sure you communicate with the staff. The faculty and staff are very helpful and friendly. They are accommodating and the facility is safe and clean. They do have menu posted which is very appetizing and healthy. There is a nurse on staff and available if you have questions concerning your love ones. They do keep the residents engaged in daily activities.

Heartbreaking. That’s how I would describe my mother’s recent 4-year stay at Sunrise of Richmond. Confined to a wheelchair, my mother was completely dependent on Sunrise staff to use the bathroom, clean her, etc. It was not unusual for Mom to push the call button to go to the bathroom and wait 40 minutes to over an hour for someone to come get her. One person left her on the toilet for over an hour! Imagine what it must have been like to be so vulnerable -- to have to go to the bathroom, and no one will come get y…

Each category gets a 5. We are so happy we connected with A Place for Mom. It helped us in connecting with places to visit and to find the best place for our love one. Everyone was and is so helpful, friendly and informative. The process was easy and the faculty & staff are wonderful.
