Located just two minutes off of I-270 and 10 minutes from the 495 Capital Beltway, Sunrise of Rockville is nestled in a convenient location within Montgomery County near the Rockville Metro and the Historic Area of Rockville. Our Assisting Living specializes in personalizing our services to meet the daily needs of each of our Residents and we pride ourselves on the continuity of our dedicated and loving team and our family-oriented environment. Sunrise of Rockville Residents enjoy a wide array of activities to enhance their quality of life in an elegant setting where friends, families and pets are always welcome! Activities range from Daily Exercise, Specialty Outings, World Culture, Intergenerational Programs, Book Clubs, Community Service & Diverse Religious Programs, to Floral Arranging Club and Interactive Music Appreciation! We encourage our residents' independence while providing the reassurance and support to our families in a setting that enables our residents to age in place. Our specialized Memory Care neighborhood provides a small, safe and nurturing environment with focused activities to keep our residents engaged as well as a Life Enrichment Manager who ensures that each resident's individuality is celebrated. Our Reminiscence Coordinator and Care Managers receive specialty training to continue to ensure sensitivity, compassion, understanding and on-going education with all facets of dementia. We are proud to partner with a variety of dedicated specialists who provide in-house support services to our residents. Their families have the option to utilize these services, i.e. Internal Medicine, Physical Therapy, Audiology, Podiatry etc... Our Nursing Team collaborates with them to provide a well-rounded spectrum of Wellness and Medical care to our residents. Our community stands very proud of its history of great care and team longevity. At Sunrise of Rockville, residents and their families will experience the Sunrise Difference.

I would give them 5 stars because the people there are very caring and they communicate regularly with me and my siblings. The place is always beautifully kept and they have a variety of activities going all day long. The staff is extremely friendly and caring going out of their way to talk to my siblings and I about our mom's experiences and mental heath. I recommend this place highly.

PositiveThe sales associate was very helpful. He was patient and took the time to explain everything to me. The facility was immaculate and the residents were all about and friendly. Had the opportunity to talk with a couple persons and had a tour of the facility and they layout of the room one would occupy.

PositiveOur family's experience
I had a unique experience in that I chose this facility for my mother however, the week before she was to move in, she had to go to the hospital and unfortunately she never was able to live there. The sales lady, [name removed], at the facility was very, very informative and answered all of my millions of questions… Always pleasant. While my mother was in the hospital, the care team from sunrise of Rockville came by to visit and evaluate her. They were ready to take her on, even though she would be coming to them …

PositiveOur experience
The facility is warm and comfortable-- not institutional. The staff is kind and even loving, and we visitors are always welcomed. They remember who my mother-in-law is and they remember me as well. The gardens are lovely and they encourage the residents to go out and walk them. It is about as much as my relative can manage. We feel very comfortable knowing she is well cared for when we aren't there.
