Welcome to Sunrise of Silver Spring, an assisted living community in Silver Spring, Maryland, just minutes from Route 495 and just off Route 29, north on New Hampshire Avenue. Sunrise of Silver Spring sits in a beautifully landscaped setting in a residential neighborhood, adjacent to the White Oak Library and convenient to area shopping centers and hospitals. In addition to our assisted living services we have a specialized neighborhood, Reminiscence, dedicated to residents with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Step into a Sunrise Assisted Living community, like Sunrise of Silver Spring, and you can't help but feel at home. We stop at nothing to make your experience warm and inviting, from our homelike exterior architecture, to our comfortable community areas and choice of suites to our exceptional outdoor gardens and landscaping. Look around and you'll notice fresh flowers throughout the residence, and you may even spot our dog, Napoleon. And of course, there are always the friendly smiling faces of our staff to ensure that each day spent at Sunrise of Silver Spring is a welcome one.

PositiveA Lesson Learned
Clean and no offensive smells. Food was good. People were friendly. NO activity, visited at different times, clients just sat. No stimulation by either staff or tv's or music. When he left, he had totally regressed and we started over. Saw nothing of the programs that were discussed, and supposedly encouraged by the 7 million dollar grant. Hopefully there are places that engage clients and don't just let them sit!

Putting a loved one into assisted living is always a difficult decision. It is an adjustment for all persons involved, including family. Sunrise has made the transition for my mother as easy as humanly possible. It has been a difficult adjustment for Mom but everyone at Sunrise has done their best to see that she feels taken care of and loved. While she still wants her family with her as much as possible. Her health is improving. She is eating well. Doctors, nurses, care providers are all there for her 24 hour…

My brother is currently a resident at Sunrise of Silver Spring and most everything has been great, except for the cost. Sunrise increased my brother's bill to $[removed] per month. We really appreciate all that they have done and do at Sunrise, but that cost is extreme.
