My parents stay in the memory care unit. The staff there is great but the highlight of their day and their lives is mealtime! For the money we spend for them to stay there the food is horrible! Most of the patients aren't given a choice in the unit! Have to beg for ice for drinks! Today lunch was terrible chicken salad on lettuce, slaw and ice cold sliced potatoes. Never heard of such a combination! Soups consists of odd combinations also. Vegetable had 4 peas and 3 carrot squares with so much hot sauce! Nobody cou…
