PositiveTakes some time to get used to a new normal
I think the staff generally cares for the well-being of the residents. They do call them by their names and do tend to know the specifics of each resident and their needs. I am pleased when they address them individually and it is obvious that they know exactly what to do, when the Memory Care patients are upset or needs to be directed. They do a good job at redirecting and making them happy. Something to get used to is they allow the dignity and freedom of the resident to come and go as they please through the me…

CriticalHorrible Facility
Seems like the staff is overwhelmed by the number of residents they have to care for on shifts, therefore residents go without proper care. Ratio needs to be adjusted... Staff to resident.. Ants in rooms. Food and personal belongings go missing. Lack of compassion for the elderly. Overall the place needs improvement in a lot of areas.

Communication can be difficult. Not all assistants have been kind and respectful to my Mother-in-law. I have seen a garden but I don't think they have used it to engage residents and include produce into the meals. There is potential there. I don't know all the barriers, but I have seen better.

PositiveFriendly and Caring Staff
The staff was incredibly friendly and really seemed attentive to my mother. No matter when we dropped by, and we intentionally did so randomly, the facility was clean, the staff seemed happy and so did the residents. Our experience was with memory care so I can speak to what the assisted living side was like. Dislikes are there were times I felt they could have been more communicative about issues my mother was having.

The facility is understaffed so less attention is paid to those needing less care. They do not provide transportation services as advertised. The we have had several items "disappear". The CNA's are extremely helpful and kind. The menu needs to have more variety and more flavor. One more comment: the staff is slow to follow through on requested items and/or call backs.

Decent upgrades, remodeled facility, good care, and much lower monthly cost than competitors we reviewed. employees were very friendly and tried to assist and make things as good as possible. worst aspect was the food quality and servings, this was my mother's biggest complaint.
