The staff is very competent as far a care goes, but my MIL did some how misplace some of her clothes, so I have to check on that regularly. We're very happy with our choice -- they really do a good job there at the Avalon.

PositiveOverall positive experience with Avalon of New Albany
The facility is beautiful. Kept very clean. The staff was great. The point I took off was due to the weekend Staff which seemed weak. And what I mean by that is I would get a phone call or a text sometimes like 1 o'clock or 2 o'clock in the morning saying Mom didn't take her midnight pill. For respite care I was expecting them to be able to handle something like that. Also, if it was a midnight pill, I wouldn't definitely not wake Mom up and I did tell them that it wasn't necessary to wake her up to take medicine, …
