The Barclay of Vero Beach Assisted Living and Memory Care

I put my dad in a memory care facility, one of the main reasons was for his safety. During the day they were great, a lot of activities and even took them out each Monday. But at night he fell twice. The second time he went into hospital for X-rays and he fractured his hip and back, a day later he had a stroke and a few days later passed away. Our experience

What they could improve on would be to have examples of what you are or will be billed for. Instead of being surprised with the bill and then having to question/challenge the items on it. It also seemed like the changes in management didn't make things better.

Facility is excellent and well maintained, staff have been kind, considerate and helpful. The main criticism my sister has is the lack of reasonable quality food. She is even considering moving due to this matter. Since I don't eat there I have no way of knowing if her expectations are unreasonable in an institutional setting or if her complaints are well founded. Great Place

Dad has been a resident for 6 years and is enjoying every minute. The food is great and the way he has made friends is terrific. It is nice to see dad go out on trips with his friends. I highly recommend 5 stars
