Overall a great place to put your loved ones and yes, we would recommend The Berkeley at Short Pump to other families based on the experience so far.

Our family's experience

The name has been recently changed to The Berkeley at Short Pump. It is difficult to evaluate accurately with new management. However, they seem to be responsive to concerns. The care giving staff has been very good. The medication technicians have been very prompt. My two concerns are with housekeeping and communication. I think my husbands room should be cleaned more thoroughly. Communication updates from the on site Dr and activities there haven't been good. This is one of the main goals for the manager. Too so…

Currently very low on staff in memory care unit. However, staff is very attentive emotionally. Staff maintains a caring environment. Rooms can be cleaned more efficiently.

Very accommodating! Would recommend without hesitation

Administrative Staff very professional accommodating, knowledgeable!! Facility very clean, comforting concierge area and staff also professional and a accommodating Quality of care very good among the professional medical staff Nurses' aides were sufficient but my my mother is challenging!!

Welcoming and friendly

They are by and large really nice. Very welcoming and friendly. Some clearly really love my dad. The rooms are Very nicely sized and well kept. The main rooms have huge tv's and pianos. The dining rooms are also very nice and clean.
