PositiveThe facility is great, and there seems to be a larger group of active residents than other facilities we have experienced. Most issues we have encountered have been due to turnover of caregivers which seems to be typical in this industry. That said, turnover at The Blake is better than the other two facilities she has been in. Overall, very pleased.
★★★★★
PositiveWe love the Blake. We just wish it wasn't so expensive.

CriticalI'm not happy with how the Blake handled my mom. She moved out in about a week. The care team was very good. I almost feel like they did a bait and switch because they evaluated my mom for assisted living and immediately moved her to memory care. My mom is not without fault but we weren't happy with how they handled it.

PositiveWe toured The Blake at New Braunfels during our search for a Memory Care facility for my loved one. This facility was really nice. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. This facility was our second choice, but it was too far from home.
★★★★★
PositiveWe picked this community, because of the location and quantity of staff. It's the best place for your loved one. Excellent care all the way through the end of life. Every place has issues and they will work with you to correct them.
